The WEPs, a joint initiative of UN Women and the UN Global Compact, offer a framework for businesses to promote gender equity through leadership, workplace practices and community engagement. By signing the WEPs, Inspirus joins Pluxee and a global coalition of companies working to create inclusive and equitable business environments.
Henry Benamram, Country Managing Director of Inspirus, has formally signed the WEPs on behalf of the organization. His endorsement signals Inspirus’ alignment with the seven principles outlined by the UN, which aim to:
- Establish high-level corporate leadership for gender equality
- Treat all women and men fairly at work – respect and support human rights and nondiscrimination
- Ensure the health, safety and well-being of all women and men workers
- Promote education, training and professional development for women
- Implement enterprise development, supply chain and marketing practices that empower women
- Promote equality through community initiatives and advocacy
- Measure and publicly report on progress to achieve gender equality
