Data Collection and Usage Overview

Our server software potentially gathers in log files, general demographic information from all users of our Web sites. For each visitor to the Inspirus web sites, our web server may automatically recognize the visitor's domain name, browser type, operating system, referring domains, entry page, exit page, and average time on the web sites. This information is used internally to help us improve our web sites and helps us understand our visitors' needs. This information may be shared with third party analytics organizations to support collection and reporting to support this process.

We may contract with several online partners to help manage and optimize our Internet business and communications. We may use the services of marketing companies to help us collect and/or log Internet Protocol addresses, Internet domain names, the web browser and operating system used to access the Inspirus web sites, the files visited, the time spent in each file, and the time and date of each visit.

We may use Web beacons and "cookies" provided by our marketing companies. Cookies are identifiers that can be sent from a web site via your browser to be placed on your computer's hard drive. We strive to provide you with choices regarding certain personal data uses, particularly around marketing and advertising. We do not collect email addresses without the site visitor or client company voluntarily providing us with this information (typically via our online information request form, data file upload, white paper request form, and other Web site forms and surveys). We will periodically use your email information for service, sales, support, and marketing purposes. From time to time, we may share your email address with our partner organizations and companies for service, sales, support, and marketing purposes. We will not share your personal data with any company outside our partner organizations and companies. Inspirus complies with the EU-U.S Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland to the United States. Inspirus has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield principles of notice, choice, accountability for onward transfer, security, data integrity, purpose limitation, access, recourse, enforcement, and liability. For data transferred from the EEA and Switzerland to the Unites States, if there is any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Privacy Shield Principals, the Privacy Shield Principals shall govern. Inspirus’ accountability for personal data that it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the Privacy Shield Principles. In particular, Inspirus remains responsible and liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if third-party agents that it engages to process the personal data on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless Inspirus proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

Inspirus’ participation in the Privacy Shield program applies to all personal data that is subject to the Inspirus Privacy Statement and is received from the European Union, European Economic Area, and Switzerland. Inspirus will comply with the Privacy Shield Principles in respect of such personal data.

Privacy Shield Enforcement and Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us should you have a Privacy Shield-related (or general privacy-related) complaint. For any complaints that cannot be resolved with Inspirus directly, Inspirus has chosen to cooperate with a panel established by the EU Data Protection Authorities, or the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, as applicable, who will hear such complaints and Inspirus will comply with the information and advice provided to it by this panel in relation to such unresolved complaints (as further described in the Privacy Shield Principles). As further explained in the Privacy Shield Principles, a binding arbitration option will also be made available to you in order to address residual complaints not resolved by any other means. Notification of Privacy Policy Changes

Inspirus may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. If Inspirus decides to make material changes in the way we use your personal information, we will post the changes to our web sites so that you will always know what information we collect, how it is used, and when and how it will be disclosed. Your use of the Inspirus web sites following notice of such change will be deemed acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy, which may include application of the new policy to information provided prior to the date of such change.
