Inspirus Awarded $198,503 Texas Workforce Commission

FORT WORTH, Texas – (February 26, 2018) Inspirus, a Sodexo Group company and leader in elevating employee experiences and optimizing organizational culture through people-focused SaaS technology and integrated solutions, has been awarded a $198,503 Skills Development Fund grant from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). Partnering with Divergence Academy of Addison, Texas, and Tarrant County College (TCC), Inspirus will provide on-site job training.

TWC Chairman Andres Alcantar presented the check to Inspirus at the official signing event held at Tarrant County College. Inspirus will use the grant to provide 3,816 customized training hours to 96 new and incumbent workers by providing corporate learning in high-value areas. Courses include Development Operations Engineering with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Data Analytics and Warehousing, Cybersecurity Awareness, Microservices Data Architecture, Pentaho Business Analytics for Splunk and SQL Queries. All courses will be hands-on with technology simulations in instructor-led learning labs at the Inspirus corporate office, bringing the training directly to the employee workplace.

Since its inception in 1996, Skills Development Fund grants have created or upgraded more than 342,428 jobs throughout Texas. The grants have assisted 4,238 employers with their customized training needs. The Skills Development Fund was allocated $48.5 million for 2016-17.
