Hank Billman Retires After 47 Years, Leaving Historic Legacy

Fort Worth, Texas — (December 29, 2021) — Inspirus LLC, a Sodexo Group company and leader in elevating employee experiences and optimizing organizational culture and employee engagement through rewards and recognition, announced that Hank Billman, Account Management Director is retiring after 47 years of exceptional service. Hank first started in sales with Diamond H Recognition which became Inspirus in 2009 and was acquired by Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services in 2016.

Hank joined the Inspirus family in 1974 when it was Diamond H, a leader in enterprise employee recognition solutions and service award programs. He immediately recognized the need and carved out a niche selling market for companies seeking custom award jewelry and emblematic designs — lapel pins, rings, and custom jewelry pieces — within their employee reward and recognition gift choices. He was best known for his extensive experience in developing recognition programs and one-of-a-kind memorable pieces for companies that wished to honor service anniversaries in a customized, unique way.

Hank worked with some of the most recognizable companies in both Texas and nationwide, during his tenure. He held positions in sales management, product sourcing, and gift card program development. His unique skill set of extensive experience in recognition program design, service awards, custom award jewelry and manufacturing, coupled with his warm, storytelling, relationship style kept his clients happy and loyal. As one of the longest tenured employees at Inspirus, Hank was honored for his years of service on December 8th in front of his managers and peers at a special luncheon. Laura Durden will now fill his very large shoes, as Director of Emblematic Accounts.

“While we are sad to see Hank go, we treasure the time, passion and commitment he has given us,” says Lesa Blakey, Vice President Operations and Culture. “The legacy he leaves behind from his thoughtful, approach to caring for our clients will be missed. The shining light is that Laura has worked with Hank for years and will build on his traditions and continue his legacy.”
